The third annual competition is organized by LSA – Life Science Accelerator of Shizim Group, in co-operation with ILSI, The Israel Export and International Co-operation Institute, and LSA's business partners:

• GCP Clinical Studies – Israel's leading CRO;
• Intertek – the leading Global Medical Device Testing and Certification Company;
• Asis Enterprises – the leading business development company for penetrating Japan;
• Signal Business Development (of Trendlines Group) - leading international marketing and business development firm;
• Dr. Eyal Bressler & Co. – leading Israeli intellectual property firm;
• Eytan Liraz & Co. – leading Israeli law offices;
• Zog-Design – leading in industrial design and commercial product development;
• Sunrise Projects – the leading R&D granting consultancy in Israel;

Competition Stages:

1. Initial Participation Questionnaire: Fill-in a short (2 page) questionnaire, describing the company and the product. Filled-in questionnaires should be sent to the following address: Startup-day@lsahome.com
   
   Deadline for submitting the questionnaire: November 19th 2009.
   
   
2. Business Plan submission: The 15 best companies ranked will be requested to send their business plans. All projects will be ranked by the judging panel that is comprised of the competition business partners and sponsors.
3. Presentations – December 16th 2009: The highest ranked 10 companies will be invited to hold a 20 minutes presentation to the judging panel members.
4. Winner Announcement: The winners will be announced within two weeks of the presentations day.
