Yossi Bornstein - CEO & Founder
Mr. Bornstein is a highly regarded entrepreneur with an outstanding record in the pharmaceutical industry.
He was the General Manager of Bristol-Myers Squibb (Israel), until 1992.
Mr. Bornstein then established his own health care organization in Israel.
His first company was Pharmateam Ltd. which specialized in representing International pharmaceutical companies such as 3M Health Care, SmithKline Beecham, Shire, Medimmune, United Therapeutics, Forest Laboratories, Goldshield etc. with great success, and in a relatively short period achieved multi-million dollar turnover and profitability. Pharmateam was sold in 2000.
Mr. Bornstein's portfolio of companies is controlled through the holding company Shizim Ltd. Through this company Mr. Bornstein has founded daughter companies:
- LSA – Life Science Accelerator – provides the full umbrella of developmental, clinical and business services for life-science companies.
- GCP Clinical Studies Ltd.- Israel's leading CRO. Clinical Studies (for Drugs and Medical Devices) Biostatistics & Data Management.
- Biotis Ltd. - focused on registration & marketing pharmaceuticals in Israel.
- Nanolymf Ltd start-up Company focused on the development of a new and unique drug delivery platform that allows lipophilic drugs to be delivered directly to the blood thus bypassing the liver.
- Coraltis Ltd - biotechnology start-up Company focused on drug delivery solutions.
Mr. Bornstein was the Biotechnology Committee Chairman of USISTC - United States-Israel Science & Technology Commission, until the end of 2005 and also a consultant for USISTF - United States-Israel Science & Technology Foundation
Mr. Bornstein is the Founder and a Committee Member, of the
ILSI - Israel Life Science Industry Organization and of ITTN – Israel Tech Transfer Organization.

Efi Shnaidman - Vice President

Efi Shnaidman serves as CEO of Biotis and Vice President of LSA, both subsidiaries of Shizim group.
Efi Joined Shizim Group after acting as the General Manager of Boston Scientific (Israel) and VP Marketing and Sales of Pfizer Israel, as well as other executive positions in life-science multinational companies.

Yuval Almougy - LSA Business Development Manager
Yuval Almougy serves as LSA Business Development Manager at Shizim. Prior to that, Yuval served as the Project Management Director at Sunrise Projects Ltd, which is the leading expert-based business consultancy in Israel focused on achieving R&D grants for innovative Israeli technology companies, from different sources, including OCS, Bi-National, FP7 and Federal grant applications. Under his management, the professional team of Sunrise and its production has more than doubled.
During his time at Sunrise Projects, Yuval has been exposed to the most advanced technologies in the fields of medical devices, pharma, biotechnology, nanotechnology, agro-tech, and more.
Prior to joining Sunrise Projects, Yuval worked as Project Manager at Earthnoise.com, an Israeli start-up that developed applications for Video Web sharing and editing. Previously, he was head of the market research department of ADKiT, an international business and marketing information company.
Yuval holds an MBA from the University of Tel-Aviv, a BA in business management and communications from The Hebrew University at Jerusalem , and a graduate of digital media studies from the Interdisciplinary Centre in Herzeliya.

Dr. Michael Dalith, Ph.D. - Advisor, Bio-Pharmaceutics, Pre-Clinical, Clinical and Regulatory Affairs
Michael Dalith has over 40 years of practical experience in senior scientific and executive management positions, at the international pharmaceutical industry and in biomedical teaching and research. He holds a B.Sc. in Biology, M.Sc. in Physiology and Ph.D. in Pharmacology.
From 1993 to 2003, Michael was a senior management member at the Agis Group (now Perrigo), serving from 1998 to 2003 at Clay- Park Labs, Inc. / Agis Group, in New York, as a Senior VP for International Clinical Affairs. Michael has developed and implemented management control for operations and compliance under current good clinical practice (cGCP) for all Biopharmaceutical, Pre-clinical (cGLP), Clinical and related Regulatory activities. Dr. Dalith has worked in the International Clinical Affairs environment in the USA as well as in Europe and has gained broad knowledge, understanding and experience in matters related to the FDA culture and working environment, with regard to Generics (ANDAs), Innovative (NDAs), Over The Counter (OTCs) and Cosmetics development and their related Regulatory processes.
Earlier, from 1987 to 1993, Michael Dalith worked at the R&D division of Teva Pharmaceutical Industries Ltd., where he had established and directed the international Biopharmaceutical (bioavailability/bioequivalence) research programs and later also coordinated Innovative Clinical research studies of Teva's Copaxone in Israel.
As a result of Michael Dalith's work, both companies achieved many prosperous FDA and European drug approvals as well as successful marketing thereafter.
Dr. Dalith assists in guidance on Regulatory strategies and R&D activities of Pharmaceutical, Biomedical and Biotech companies, which are seeking for guidance and advice at the various stages of Biopharmaceutical, Pre-Clinical and Clinical development towards successful International approvals and marketing.

Dr. Malca Chen-Zion, Ph.D. - Advisor Medical Devices Pre-Clinical, Clinical and Regulatory Affairs
Dr. Chen-Zion has more than 13 years of experience in the fields of regulatory affairs, preclinical research and clinical trials of medical devices and biotechnology. Dr. Chen-Zion holds a Ph.D. in Biology with highest distinction from Bar-Ilan University.
During her many years of activity, Dr. Chen-Zion has held various management positions. She served as Director of Clinical Affairs at Topspin Medical, which develops cardiovascular medical devices, and at Neurovision Ltd, which develops software medical devices. Dr. Chen-Zion also served as Vice President, Clinical and Regulatory Affairs Director at Optonol Ltd., which develops ophthalmic medical devices for permanent implantation.
Since 2004, Dr. Chen-Zion has been consulting various companies in diverse fields, including cardiology, ophthalmology, orthopedic, dental, gastroenterology and others.
Dr. Chen-Zion has a broad scientific background. She has published over 20 articles and 15 abstracts in professional literature.
